Ostrava is easily accessible by train. You can check your train connection and purchase your train ticket online via the following websites: České dráhy (state-run railway operator), Regiojet and Leo Express. International trains most often stop at the main train station in Ostrava; the Czech word for “main train station” is Hlavní nádraží, which is often abbreviated as hl.n.
